***1/48 Carrier Deck Diorama Set 1 (SECONDS) ***

This is a "seconds" kit. It contains the same parts as the full kit but some pf the FDM (plastic) parts have some print defects or blemishes. Mostly minor and can be fixed with a little extra putty and sanding. The resin parts are all fine, this is just a way for me to clear out some parts that are mostly OK but didn't quite meet the standards for the full priced kit.

Carrier Deck Diorama Set 1 includes parts to build your own carrier deck diorama of the catapault and jet blast deflector of a modern day aircraft carrier. This set includes 3D printed parts depicting a 6 panel jet blast deflector, a section of the catapault including shuttle and 132 tie-down "pad eyes" in 1/48 scale. This will give you enough pad eyes to cover a 600mm x 400mm sized display base.

3D printed parts will sometimes require minor cleanup and preparation prior to painting and assembling. Instructions are included for assembly of the Jet Blast Deflector, some basic knowledge of creating a diorama will be required to complete the display.
